Robert will reflect on the logistical challenges that Europe must face following the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Specifically, he will focus on the impacts of the Russian-Ukrainian war on migration, transportation, and the environment in Europe. Using expertise and knowledge acquired from over 20 years of experience in the logistics and transportation sectors, Robert will explain the role of emergency shipping in a time of humanitarian crisis. The session will also shed a light on the environmental costs of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

About Robert Sadowski

Robert is a Polish businessman, philanthropist, TEDX speaker, and the CEO of Sawa Logistics. For over 20 years, Robert has been actively engaged in transport orders across Europe, Eurasia, and the Middle East. During this time, he gained extensive knowledge and experience in the sectors of logistics and emergency shipping.
To say that logistics is Robert''s passion is an understatement. He truly enjoys problem-solving complex situations with dynamic and unique solutions and providing professional emergency assistance in times of humanitarian crisis. Robert has organized road transports with humanitarian aid for refugees in Erbil, Iraq, and hosted numerous charity events for children in Tanzania. Robert has also shared his experience and knowledge as a TedxMCPHS speaker at Boston University and at the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. Even in his private life, Robert enjoys linking his hobbies to humanitarian aid. For instance, he ran the Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon to raise funds and awareness for Polish Hospice in Warsaw, across frozen lake Baikal in Siberia or Sahara Desert in marathon de Sables. He also runs the foundation "Let'' us be USAWA" with the goal of helping people in need.
