Segmenting the Logistics Transportation Industry by Modes, Services & Markets

All too often executives within an organization bucket freight expenditures into one bucket - "freight." But within the logistics transportation and freight industry there are many modes of transportation, all different, each requiring different analysis and action items. We can loosely divide freight and shipping into two sub-markets, capacity driven markets and data driven markets. In this seminar we explain the differences.

About Matt Everson

The speaker is an Army veteran who served in Iraq, a collegiate athlete from the University of Minnesota, and was one of the first employees at one the fastest growing TMS companies in America. His experience working in software technology at places like Infor, Oracle, Kewill (Blu-Jay), and more paired with the logistics services experience at AFS and FreightWise have provided him with a vast knowledge of combining the logistics services with technology. The past 10 years he has been spent studying and understanding freight and shipping rating mechanisms, market trends, the gaps organizations fall into without the proper tools, resources, or data on various modes of transportation.
