About Joey Phelps

Joey Phelps is a Customer Service Director and Business Development Specialist with the General Services Administration’s Federal Acquisition Service. Joey began his GSA Career with the Federal Telecommunications Service in 1988.
In his 35 years of service with GSA Joey has assisted every branch of the Department of Defense and innumerable civilian agencies and even foreign governments. Joey has been recognized for service and innovation with awards from the United States Secret Service, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Chief Master Sergeant Phelps (Retired) is a 29 year veteran of the United States Air Force serving on Active Duty and in the Air National Guard. He has served in Central and South America, the South Pacific, Europe, and Asia.
Joey and his lovely wife, Marie, recently celebrated 45 years of marriage, a testament to love at first sight and Marie’s sainthood.
