Dr. McClain will discuss the role of Earth observations in supporting comprehensive disaster management. She will highlight NASA’s newly launched Disaster Response Coordination System that directly supports domestic and international emergency management authorities, and review the NASA Lifelines Consortium dedicated to improving exchanges between Earth science and humanitarian communities.
