Scott has led local government public procurement programs for nearly 35 years and is currently the Director of Procurement for the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners in Florida.
Prior to joining Hillsborough County in January of 2015, Scott was the Purchasing Director for the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners for 17 years, and Purchasing Agent for the City of Alliance, Nebraska for 7 years.
He has held professional certification as a Certified Professional Public Buyer, Certified Public Purchasing Officer, Certified Purchasing Manager; and served as a Master Instructor for the Institute for Public Procurement teaching audiences nationwide.
