Paul Dean has served in local government since 2002, with a brief hiatus to pursue his Master of Public Administration. In 2012, he was appointed as the FEMA Public Assistance Officer for Pasco County in response to Tropical Storm Debby. Since then, Paul has remained actively involved in emergency management operations across both Pasco and Pinellas counties.
He currently serves as the Deputy Director of Public Works for Pinellas County, where he oversees countywide debris management operations and supports broader emergency response initiatives. Paul brings over two decades of public service experience, with a strong focus on disaster recovery, interagency coordination, and operational leadership.
