Robert Molleda is the Warning Coordination Meteorologist (WCM) at the NOAA/National Weather Service?s Miami/South Florida Forecast Office. As WCM since 2005, he is responsible for overseeing the National Weather Service''s warning and impact decision support services programs in South Florida which involves frequent interaction with core partners in emergency management/public safety and media, as well as providing briefings to local officials during high-impact weather events. As part of the National Weather Service''s Weather Ready Nation initiative, Robert leads the local NWS public awareness and outreach program; conducting weather-related information and safety presentations to a wide range of community groups including: local, regional, and federal government, civic organizations, business groups, and schools.
