TDSX manufactures small autonomous underwater vehicles which have advanced features and are capable of diving to great depths to collect data to aid in ocean exploration and conservation. Our vehicles offer professional level results but are available at a fraction of the cost of comparable products currently on the market. Our flagship product is the Barracuda AUV.

The Barracuda AUV provides a data collection platform that can carry a wide range of sensors including side scan sonar, video, 
temperature, depth, pH, and other sensor technology. The AUV design includes a revolutionary lidar capability for obstacle 
avoidance and mapping developed in cooperation with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). 

The Barracuda AUV is a small hand launchable and recoverable autonomous underwater vehicle. It is a stable sensor platform and can be operated remotely using a tether or in full autonomous mode.
