American Subcontractors Association of Southwest Florida
The American Subcontractor’s Association in Southwest Florida exists to advocate for Subcontractor’s in the construction industry. We are a national association, with chapters across the country and represent thousands of Subcontractor’s in the USA.
As a local chapter, we desire to advocate in three specific areas: Networking, Education and Collaboration.
We provide networking opportunities with peer subcontractor’s, as well as General Contractor’s. We provide relevant and necessary educational meetings and ‘lunch and learns’ for our members to be informed and equipped with the knowledge to be as successful as they can be with their company. Lastly, we provide collaboration opportunities with General Contractor’s at our quarterly “Meet the GC” series, where we have a networking happy hour and representatives from that GC will present to our members about their company, bid list practices, upcoming projects and much more! This also affords a face-to-face conversation and question/answer opportunity. Overall, the ASA exists to provide better construction through fair construction.
